I'm getting better at posting here, I swear...

Belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrated. I had a a small Thanksgiving meal with cypher on that Thursday and then on Friday we attended a frankly disastrous Friendsgiving, but then the weekend came and all was well. And what else happened that Friday was, I uuuuhhh, bought a new computer. ;o; I found a great deal on one and my job has a $600 computer stipend so I had to take advantage of that. It arrived on Sunday and wow, gosh. How fancy and nice.

(My previous desktop had been purchased in 2016 so it was definitely time for an upgrade)

I've been downloading Sims 4 mods, even though I don't even plan on playing until I've managed to get more of the expansion and stuff packs; this fucking game. Base game is useless, everyone knows this! I managed to overspend on Christmas gifts for family, so now I gotta chill until I get paid again. Which is so very difficult for me. ;o;

Speaking of which, if you have a Steam account and we're not friends, let's do the thing! Steam isn't perfect but I really like it. It's so dangerous tho, it's SO easy to collect games. I have so many that I haven't played, which I suspect is true for most people but lol. (also I really love gifting people little games for the holidays, so if you do not like that please let me know ahead of time and I'll refrain)

Ooof, I've had this open for a couple of days, it's probably time to actually post. Hmm, anything else...life continues apace, guys. I'm talking to my mom almost every day and have plans to fly down in January. I've been cooking and baking more than ever and OH WAIT A MINUTE.

I don't think I've mentioned this, guys, but I have a CPAP machine! I did a sleep study and while my actual oxygen levels stayed high, my sleep interruption was terrible. So I was given a CPAP and while it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, it has help for energy and doing stuff so much. It has really turned my life around and just in time for the Long Dark (the fog has not dissipated around my house for two days), which makes everything more difficult to do. ;o; But anyways, yes! That's been awesome. :D

I haven't been gaming as much for the last few years (I kinda cycle through my hobbies, there's only so much time!!) but I used to go nuts during the Steam sales, haha. They had those games where you could collect cards or other tokens based on how much you spent and I got really addicted to collecting as much as I could. It helped that I had a couple of friends who didn't care and sent me all their loot but damn!! Wishing you very happy gaming :D

It's awesome that the CPAP machine made such a difference for you. Quality sleep really makes the rest of life easier.

Oh gosh, yeah, I totally get it. What is time, why are hobbies so time consuming, why is work so time consuming, all I want to do is the things I enjoy. ;o; The token games are really rude and dangerous, I try not to get caught up with them but sometimes it's hard, lol.

Yes, omg, Rina, it was a mess. XD Our host was having an extremely rough time, which I get, but W and I had offered to host in the first place. |D So that's what ended up happening, friends came over to our house instead, so I guess in a way we saved Thanksgiving, lol.

Yaassss, it's pretty amazing. I was pretty skeptical to start with but it has really helped so much.
