It's so frustrating. If you don't set things up just right, you run out of food and your villagers starve. If you don't have enough logs, you can't get firewood and your villagers freeze to death come winter. But you have to be careful where you cut because you need your forests for the hunting lodge, herbalist, and whatever the gatherer thing is, I can't remember. Plus, if you have disasters on, a tornado can wipe out everything and you have to start from scratch, and if it takes out your starter animal (cows, chickens, whatever), you are in danger.

I play on easy and this is how it goes. ;; I've only just gotten a village pretty stable with ~50 people. I have disasters on though, so I'm a little worried about that.

It's a fun game but it can be so frustrating and if you don't set your village up right, you're basically perpetually on the edge of disaster.
