I'm not making it to Spanish tonight but I got in touch with psychological resources requesting an evaluation, so that's something. I've never talked to mental health professionals before but better late than never, right?
It can be great. Remember, if it doesn't go well with the first person you speak to, it can be worth trying again when/if you can; sometimes it's just the (lack of) connection between a person and their therapist.
Good call. Shanaqui's got the right idea - if they're awful, drop 'em and try again when you have the strength, but when they're good it's really helpful.
