So I splurged a little bit and bought a Kindle paperwhite. :D I decided on a proper e-reader rather than a tablet because my phone is good for everything other than reading books. This, of course, means I'm more interested in keeping up with Goodreads. So, if we're not friends on there, I'm Nanners. Be my friend! :D Also if you have any ebook recs, let me know! I like horror and queer romance and young adult, because of course I do. XD

I also finally bought a bullet journal, by which I mean I bought a cute little journal with a magnetic latch and am tentatively using it for bullet journal-style....shenanigans. I do very much appreciate seeing things get checked up, even though I find it really, really easy to pass today's to-dos to tomorrow, haha. Oh well. I'm doing better than I was, anyway.

I really have a post on the horizon about fandom nostalgia, about stagnation, about the longing for the heyday of fandom and whether or not that's something that can ever be attained again, about the idea of growing up and moving on, but that's probably going to be an emotional post and I just don't have the oomph for that tonight. BUT IT'S ON THE HORIZON. Just like a half a dozen other posts, haha.

I'd love to read your thoughts on fandom nostalgia etc, because that's something I'm thinking about very often.

Btw, I found a deleted Sherlock scene on YT - why didn't I got looking for deleted scenes earler? Anyway, it was a very creepy "Magnussen visits Sherlock in hospital after the shooting and does inappropriate things to him", and now I'm looking for fanfic. *g* Yep, still firmly into Sherlock these days (and all thanks to you, because our comment exchange got me interested in watching again).

When I got my first ereader I found that I read more because it was so much easier. I tend to have more than one book on the go at once and being able to switch at a whim without dragging a ton of books around was so great. I also find the ereader a lot easier on my eyes than my tablet. So, good choice!

*snicker* Oh, it would be totally maudlin if I did that entry. Or a rant even. Like, so many people complain about empty communities. I stumble upon someone for posts intresting entries for a certain fandom, contact them and they agree to post to the comm, and actually do so - and nobody reacts. One, two, three, five entries, and the only comments come from me. It's no wonder people don't bother posting to comms any more when they get ignored anyway.

Spirits, yes, I hate Magnussen like burning! The whole family seems to have a talent for the creepy - the actor is Mads Mikkelsen's older brother. Still, the scene is great, and I wished they'd left it in. In case you haven't watched it... I've already tried reading some fic by now, but they weren't exactly quality stuff. *g*
