Today was a hell of a day, what with my mom and I arguing about family issues (we've since agreed to disagree) to there not being any water at work (I BATHE DOGS????) so anyway look what I bought.

I'm hyped, this isn't my favorite Final Fantasy but I adore the world and the characters (yes even Vaan! Why do people hate Vaan, he is precious! AND PENELO. AND FRAN/PENELO THANKS) and I sunk a ton of hours into the original release of this game and I didn't even finish everything! So I'm looking forward to revisiting this world. Especially since it has a guaranteed happy ending, I'M LOOKING AT YOU, LATER FINAL FANTASY GAMES. I'M LOOKING AT YOU.

Also Stranger Things 2 has dropped and I'll be watching it tonight! This weekend is going to packed with media consumption and fic/art production. I'm hyped. :3

Also wrt classes, my advisor and I have been exchanging emails, he's very supportive of my choices and is proud of me for finally seeking mental health (and okay, let me explain a thing, my advisor is maybe four years older than me, we're both queer, he has been a major supportive person in my life since we first met, he's a really cool dude and I'm so glad to know him). So that's what's going on that front.

I have the original steel book version of FF XII for the PS2, and I remember loving that game too! Have fun playing it.

I need to watch Stranger Things season 2 myself. I've been looking forward to it all year. :)

I also have the FFXII steelbook version for the PS2! My niece and I got it for each other the Christmas it came out (we didn't plan that out and my mom knew what we were getting the same thing for each other and laughed and laughed about it).

We're three episodes in! We took a break because we started watching kinda late last night. :3

Aha, c e r t a i n later FF games sure did not end well, did they? I'm still dreading how XV will end, given some of the hints I've gotten from unscrupulous, spoilery people.

I have Zodiac Age, but I haven't played it in at least a month. Which is regrettably standard for me. I loved it so far, though; I think I made it to the Wood? Maybe?

(Do you work at a more general pet store/grooming joint, or something else? I work at a pet store in a different department, but constantly see adverts at the front of the shop practically begging for more groomers and bathers to apply. Y'all are in high demand!)

Yeah, not to give any spoilers out but I read spoilers for Type-0 and just lost all will to play, haha. I'm completely spoiled for FFXV though! I know everything that happens. After a certain amount of time passes I just say fuck it and read spoilers, hahaha.

I also take long breaks from video games, although I never had that problem with FFXII! I think it's because, since Vaan is the central character but he doesn't really have anything huge at stake - he's not Ashe or Basch - it feels more fun for me because it kinda just feels like Vaan and I are existing in this world, I guess? IS THAT WEIRD? It feels weird now that I think about it. Oh well.

I work at a straight up pet salon! All we do are baths and grooms. My sister owns the place.
