So, barring December, 2017 was not a particularly productive month. For anything. I finished one game (Hustle Cat, super good!), only read 7 books, and didn't really write or draw anything of great interest. Which I'm okay with! I did a very important real life thing instead, heading to therapy and being diagnosed with kinda uuuh severe depression and finding out that I need meds. So you know, that's something.

But 2018 is a new year! And I'll maybe be getting meds on January 3rd! So hopefully I can continue the productivity of December on into the new year.

Resolutions
- At least two completed art pieces a week, preferable one original and one fan.

- Two books a week (I'm handwaving this a bit because I'll be signing up for the goodreads reading challenge and I don't know how many books I'm signing up for yet - but I'm including manga and comics and I just, uuuh, might have bought a lot of comics so I'll have a headstart on shorter reads).

- Figure drawing five nights a week (as little as five minutes! But figure drawing is such a valuable way to spend time and my anatomy is garbage so yeah.

- I signed up for the 240 days (Journeyman) pledge over at [community profile] getyourwordsout so writing approximately 20 days a month.

- Learn how to animate images! I love the art pieces I've seen on tumblr that have a little bit of animation in them. Like this!

- Go hiking at least once a month with Selphie! By "hiking" I mean go to the local park but you know, there's trails so it counts.

- Exercise daily! I don't know what program I want to use (and I may just do the 30 day fitness challenge app I've had on my phone forever) but I absolutely need to start working out more, gosh.

OKAY IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT. But it really isn't. I didn't say anything about watching movies or playing video games, hahaha.

Good luck with the meds! seeking therapy is a big step and I hope it is going well for you.

Only seven books? ahaha that's quite an accomplishment to me!
