2015 Summary of Art, mostly

I have family coming tomorrow and they'll be here for a week. Then on the 26th I'll be driving (driving) out to Austin, spending a week there, flying back on the 2nd, working all day the 3rd, and then starting classes on the 4th! WHEW.







I'm pretty pleased with my progress! I think I did some things that were outside of my comfort zone (in particular, trying to paint something I'm pleased with fast and also playing with color, although that only happened towards the end of the year).

For 2016: more landscapes, more women! I'm basically forcing myself to do the first one; painting 4 is basically self-study and you present your own series concept and syllabus and mine is going to be working on various cityscapes and architecture. I completely blame Daredevil for this, btw. Thanks, Mr. Murdock.
