Yeah, I signed up for this. Because why not? Maybe this'll help me A. knock out some bingo cards and B. stop being so concerned about how people will receive my fics and just freaking write. Have fun with it!

So I mentioned that for the home cooking square of my bingo card, I might write Silas/Corrin because Silas was the first character to cook for Corrin in the mess hall. Well, I did the little hubba meter thing and this is what came up:



I mean, come on. Also, yep, the one on the left is my player character, I made him as cute and pretty as I could so I can imagine him getting completely wrecked by Niles and Ryoma and everyone else and just used the default name. I love him. ;3; Here's a better picture of his precious face.

In other news, cypher got me into Death Game Park and it's pretty great. I've only watched the first six episodes so I don't really know what's going on just yet but I'm really loving the character dynamics going on, particularly between the two male leads (ofc).


And I just got a comment on a work that marked as completed that read "I really like the first chapter, any plans of continuing? Pretty please..." Like jfc that kind of shit is annoying. I mean, I do plan on continuing that particular fic because Sith!Qui-Gon gives me life, but it's marked as complete so why the hell is this person saying they love the first chapter? It's a oneshot! It's shit like this that makes me not want to continue working on things.

I have this Naruto/Harry Potter oneshot that I did a few years ago, and I get a lot of comments like that too. I'm pretty sure that I marked it as completed and wrote an author's note saying that it was intended to only be a oneshot, and still. It's definitely annoying.

I'm tentatively planning on finishing it up tonight when I get off work. Although tbh, I have a bad feeling about this! I think it's going to hurt my emotions!

Yeah...I tend to write short snippets/missing links. Being told to make it longer or to continue? So annoying! I mean, I'm happy if people like my stuff (happens seldom enough), but still.

When I did NaNoWrimo a few years back, we had a pet peeve thread in the fanfic section of the forums, and a LOT of people- including me- found that really annoying. Right up there with, "if you need any help with ideas, I have some!" Sigh. I'm glad people like the story, but a one shot is a one shot...
