My mom hurt her back while I was at work so now we're sitting in a hospital room waiting for a doctor to come tell us what's wrong. Hopefully she just overextended herself.

It was a minor thing! I mean, she has bulging discs but I'm going to be honest, around here (rural, poor, a lot of physical labor-type jobs) literally everyone has bulging discs so that's not really a big deal, plus she's apparently had them for years, they didn't just occur yesterday.

She's already walking around just fine and in absolutely no pain. I'm not letting her actually do anything but she's getting around just fine by herself.

Thank you! It ended up being nothing too serious. I'm going to keep her from doing some things that she typically is the one to do, just as a precaution, but she's okay.
