I was only slightly productive today because my mom and I binge-watched the first ten episodes of 13 Reasons Why. Ten one hour episodes. My eyes feel like sandpaper. It's a pretty great show though. Also, pretty damn grim and everyone is awful. I recommend it though! We're going to watch the last three episodes tomorrow night. :3 It's amazing how these characters are both completely repulsive yet occasionally really sympathetic. Also Hannah's characterization is so well done; she's not portrayed as a Depressed Girl, that she's full formed and fully realized and was this quirky girl who had some terrible stuff happen to her, and how she kept trying to bounce back and the shit just kept piling up.

I also really want to watch Train to Busan and Your Name, although I don't know when I'll be able to. Maybe I'll do as I did today and just put off all my work until the late evening, lmao.

Ahhh, Train to Busan! I loved that film! Hopefully you'll enjoy it when you get around to it. Certainly didn't expect to like it so much; it surprised me.

It's pretty great! Suicide is a major theme (not a spoiler, since that's right in the synopsis) and the actions that lead up to suicide is the basis of the narrative, so just a huge warning there. I can see how this would be a really difficult show for some people to watch.

Train to Busan has been popping up on my radar in multiple places so I figure that's a sign I should be watching it. :D

It's so intense! Certain episodes have warnings ahead of them. Those warnings are definitely there for a reason.

Train to Busan and Your Name are both excellent! I wasn't sure what to expect from the latter, but it was surprisingly poignant and good. :)
