Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest and ideas for summer anime watching list!

Hello to all my new readers! :D It's nice to see all of you. It's also nice to check my reading page multiple times a day and have new things to read. How awesome. :D

I've spent a ton of time over these past few days playing Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. Let me refresh you on what my avatar looks like:

However, dang, I'm terrible at strategy games! I'm playing in easy with permadeath turned off because I'm so bad. Apparently Conquest is the hardest version of Fates? That's good. I have Birthright, I'm just waiting until I finish Conquest before I start it. :3

I'm on chapter twenty now and I've only managed to get three of the second gen characters. I don't know if that's good or not but maybe I'll be able to get more before the end! :3

You know how some libraries and people will have summer reading lists? Well, I want to have a summer anime watching list, haha. It's just easier for me to watch things with subtitles when I have a lot of free time (because I can't multitask when watching subtitles and I always end up feeling like it's wasting time, even though what hobby isn't ultimately a time-waster, really?).

Speaking of summer, I have class on Friday and finals on Monday and then I'm done with this semester. Come ooooon, summer. *_*

Oh and also, jeep is fixed! I drove to class yesterday with no problem. :D

Getting second gen characters in Conquest is hard! You don't have free battles to use to grind people's relationship levels so you're limited a lot. I barely got any of the kids in Conquest. Birthright and Revelation both make it a lot easier, and you can actually make a lot more specific plans for which pairings you want to get together. ^^

Also Revelation is a fuckin balm for the soul after all the terrible shit you've had to do over the endgames of the other routes, so definitely budget for downloading that when you've played the other two. :B

Okay, good! I mean, not great that it's so difficult, I guess, but good that I'm not completely doing it wrong, haha. I'm kind of excited to start Birthright, just to see the other side of things, but I'm waiting until I finish Conquest. :3 Also, character creator! It's not that inspired in these games but it's still a fun little thing lmao.

Oh jeez! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I know that I killed a fox guy that would have been in my party if I were Hoshidan and I was a little sad about that. :( So I'm looking forward to the feels when/if something happens to characters I'm actually invested in!

You can actually grind in Conquest via the DLC maps, but only Boo Camp gives any experience. The rest give unlimited support points. :D And the second gen kids are pretty good, definitely worth the effort, but the first gen has units like Leo and Camilla so you'll probably be okay either way.

And FUCK YEAH, NILES. <3 First Conquest game I played, I made a male avatar and married him. He's one of my favorites in the whole game.

And yes, Revelation is a much-needed vacation after Birthright and Conquest. Not to say it's without its painful moments, but it's the only route with a 100% happy ending.

Oh, good to know! I hadn't bought any of the DLC before your comment, haha (I bought one of them, I don't remember which one - one that gives you gold). I have Sophie, Ophelia, and Percy and all three of them are precious. XD I mostly want to get all the characters for story purposes, rather than useful purposed.

HE'S SO GREAT. I love him.

Oh man. I'm a little scared now. XD But I'm going to power through Conquest and start on Birthright soon, I think. :D

Gosh, I have a huge Fire Emblem problem, especially with Awakening. The hours I've clocked into that game is ridiculous. I made it my mission to get every S-Rank for every character in the game, so hello multiple playthroughs.

I have Awakening but it ended up getting swept up when Fates came out. I was really excited about the gay characters, even though they're huge stereotypes and I doubt I'll romance the female one. XD But I'm definitely going to go back to Awakening. I remember there being several characters I wanted to romance lmao.
