May. 14th, 2024 02:03 pmOnce again, I've left this window open long enough that none of the times make sense. I'm gonna have to update all my chatter lmao.
On Friday I got a call back for the receptionist position with Amazon by way of Northwest Center with a job offer, tentative start date of July 15th. :o So that's pretty neat, better get refamiliarized with Excel. XD I'm gonna keep the little part time job I got (that I start tomorrow, woo!) to have cashflow between now then and maybe I can work out something so that I can stay part-time there and keep that sweet, sweet grocery discount.
It reached the low 80s the past couple of days 26.5- 27.7c) and I was disgusted but it seems to be staying a bit cooler today. My plants were pretty happy about the heat but now the lack of rain is getting to them, so time to start watering everyone. ;o;
Also on Friday I watched the Smosh Live Sitcom and omg, it was so good. I laughed so hard. I really appreciate how well this cast works together; I definitely think this is a Smosh Golden Era. ;3;
On Sunday we had some friends come over for hangouts. There was one no call, no show, which we thought they wouldn't be able to come because of Mother's Day, but they also didn't even...let us know anything? We were to meet up at 1, at 1:40 I messaged them asking if they were going to show, and at nearly 5 they finally messaged back with just "No." No. Not even a "sorry" or "my bad" or anything. So I immediately responded with "lmao kinda figured that" and that was all that was said about the matter. This is not the first time they've done this but it's definitely the last. I don't really have enough friends to get rid of one but this person isn't really being much of a friend, frankly! I've spent too long being around people who casually disrespect me, I'm not going to allow this anymore. Done. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've completed my first Warhammer army! It's a kill team army, so smaller than other armies, but that's okay; the guy at our local gaming store said it still counts. :D It's the Drukhari Mandrake set! Pictures of my faves under the cut!

I'm so pleased, especially with the skirts. ;3;
Today is very nice and sunny! I got out and mowed most of the backyard. I was pulled the lawnmower backwards and ended up falling into one of our raised beds; I very much hope the beets are okay! |D Now I'm in the cool and kinda dark living room and am full of macaroni and cheese. I'm gonna be hard-pressed not to take a nap. |D
