jump_scare_exchange! It was down to the wire and I ended up having to work up to reveals rather than the due date (with permission from the mod!) and whew! I'm really proud of what I managed to create in a pretty short amount of time tho. :D Reveals have just happened and I posted The Flow of Water, a simple, gen-rated Krobus piece. On the job front, I ended up taking the data entry job and have been working there for three weeks now! And let's just ( cut this talk about money and benefits and also just job stuff )
That's been eating up a lot of my focus and energy lately. I did manage to paint my half of the Warhammer 40k Kill Team: Termination, the Hernkyn Yaegirs. Look, I love a dwarf, okay? I'm gonna build every dwarf army in all three Warhammer timelines. No one can stop me! I'm now finally continuing my work on the Gossamid Archers that have been sitting, gathering dust. :p Pictures coming as soon as I can get some decent ones!
Things back home aren't great. My mom's health continue to deteriorate and I'm doing my best to not run screaming into the void about it. I need to buy a ticket to visit her. The idea is terrifying. The idea of not doing this is also terrifying. I'm sure many of you understand that feeling.
Anyways. It's quite beautiful today! Feeling late summer/early fall in the best way; mostly cloudy but some sun peaking through. Little bit of a breeze. There are little birbs peeping around outside, crows bickering back and forth, and the ever-present dull roar of traffic in the distance. The occasional plane flying overhead, which is a sound that has always made me think of fall. :\a
