So I gave my two week notice! And I started to explain why, that I can't handle it when boss gets angry and she interrupted me with, "Well good luck to you! People get mad when you don't do your job!" And so I was like welp, okay. And then I said I would like to work my two week notice and she said that I could walk out the door right then and they'd be fine.

This woman is a fucking child, I swear. So I stayed long enough for them to get their lunch breaks and then I said I was going on my lunch break and I would not be back.

So I talk to the nice vet and we hug and I talk to the vet tech and we hug and I say goodbye to the mean vet. And she doesn't even look at me. And I tell her I'm leaving and she said are you gone for good and I said yeah. And then she said "take my advice. do your job" which was such a bullshit way to get another dig at me and then she says, "no job is perfect" and then I leave because fuck that.

So anyways, I'm now officially unemployed and you know what? It feels alright. XD

Sheesh. Sounds like the "boss" there has zero actual leadership or management experience and assumes "if I'm in charge, I'm always right and I get what I want" instead of building a team. Sorry the job turned out to be no good, but it really seems like you got out of what was a bad situation.
