Got some extremely tragic and scary news a couple of days ago. My sister got in touch with my niece and me a couple of days ago and told us that my mom hasn't been doing well for the past couple of weeks. She ALSO sprang on us that my mom went to the doctor a little over a year ago and they found a MASS in her ABDOMEN. It was during the hardest days of covid so my sister wasn't allowed in the room with her but my mom apparently,,,didn't share with her any of the details that the doctor told her???? Just that it was a mass, they recommended surgery, my mom declined because "then they'll want chemo and I'm not doing that" which...I don't know if the doctor confirmed that it was cancer or if that was my mom's assumption???

Anyway, my sister told us all this (ON FACEBOOK MESSENGER) and then was like "But don't worry, I'm not worried, she just hasn't been feeling well so I wanted to give you guys a heads up" which, if she's not worried, why would she need to give us a "heads up" anyway? Like. I think Mom is dismissing this to keep people from worrying and my sister is eating it up for some reason, and I'm like omg this is fucking stupid.

ALSO I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW ANY OF THIS so I can't just be like "So hey Mom, about that MASS THAT'S BEEN LIVING IN YOU FOR OVER A YEAR." Like???? So anyway, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do, what actions I should be taking, anything.

In other news, I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei V, which has been super great. It's also slow going because I'm very out of practice playing a proper RPG but it's been fun!

I've also picked Genshin back up since the current event is about my boy Albedo! I love hiiiiim.
