Uh, dang, thanks for these emotions??? Seriously, thanks a lot, I don't know what I was expecting but it certainly wasn't for everyone to die. Like, whaaaaat? Anyway, I don't remember anyone's names but I really liked the robot and the Asian husbands, as well as the turncoat pilot. The lead male and the lead female were alright and their deaths were the most dramatic but after everyone else died, I was like nah you guys should die too, it's only fair.
ALSO, the dude in white (Krennic?) was not cool in a really obnoxious, self-serving way.

I like Sarah! I kinda hope she sticks around, altho obviously not in a romantic context, haha. Sherlock is capable of being nice (see: taking care of Sarah, when he ran into the tourists and knocked the book out of their hands), there's something very awkward about how John flirts, and Sherlock setting up the date for John and Sarah and then crashing it was wonderful, omg. Thanks.
Anyway, still feeling Johnlock, in a very "Sherlock is an alien who values John way more than either of them actually realize, possiblydefinitely to an unhealthy degree, while John is like dang Sherlock is annoying but also brilliant, guess I'm sticking around forever" and before you know it they're basically a married couple and then they bang." The end. |D
Anyway, looking forward to watching the next episode!

Date: 2017-01-10 01:35 am (UTC)And it was so well done! Like, to have K-2SO be the first to go down ("Climb! Climb!") after getting his own narrative arc, despite being a droid in the Star Wars universe. I especially loved how they showed that he would have preferred to live- he protests almost getting shot; he argues against taking risky choices; he's smug when he notes he'd survive a breach in space. But he went down so valiantly, and simply said his goodbyes, because his job was to hold the door. *sniff*
Plus Chirrut/Baze! Absolute Blind Faith has never been a character trope I really enjoyed- I prefer my characters to be actively questioning. But it was such a beautiful source of strength for both of them in the end. <3
Yeah, I was shocked by how okay I was with the Everybody Dies ending. It felt really right, though, and soooo hopeful.
