Fffuuu, the Steam holiday sale has begun! For once, I have a little bit of money and I bought Terraria, wooo!

I really want to get some stuff written/drawn for fandom_stocking (speaking of which, mine is here!), however I also have some commission work I have to do as well, haha. So fortunately they accept work for a little while after Christmas so that's good. :3 I'm planning on getting some Sciles fanart in, maybe some fic, because I've tooled around that fandom on tumblr today and it was both infuriating and, uh, kind of happy making? This fandom, man.

I really just. I haven't done anything, fandom-wise, if what feels like such a long time. I'm hoping signing up for ^this^ will help. ;;;; But I also want to spend more time drawing more fanart as well so! I don't know. I wonder if there's an art equivalent to getyourwordsout.

...reading your fic likes on your stocking makes me want to read about an A/B/O universe where Omegas are the heads of society, regardless of or even because of their childbearing capability (would you call it an omegalineal society? I don't even know.) I just don't know enough about the genre to write it. ^^;

At some point I need to do some stocking stuffers, now that grades are in. XD

If you are into games, also check humblebundle because they are having a very long sale. Some of the same titles overlap, but some are priced lower at either site. Like, Banner Saga was 9.99 last I checked on Steam but now it's 4.99. I'm going to buy some games but probably won't get around to playing them before a year :(

I have inkingitout bookmarked to look into. Either way, I'm only signing up for 75K challenge because if I hit that, it would be an accomplishment for me.

Oh yeah, I've been perusing humblebundle's deals. I haven't seen anything I want yet, but I've only been over like two pages and there's approximately eleven billion so, hahaha. I hoard games; I have them for when I want to play them, whenever that happens.

I was a member of inkingitout last year (I think...) but I decided to make a switch. getyourwordsout has mandatory check ins so I'm hoping that'll help me stay on task. I don't want to be removed from the comm, hahaha.

What kind of games do you like to play?

Currently I'm consumed with Dragon Age and looking at strategy games like Civilization. I play Sonic on my tablet and Robot Unicorn Attack. Then, there's The Sims, which I've been into for years.

I'm currently playing Skyrim and The Last of Us, but I also like city builder games like Banished. I also like playing Robot Unicorn Attack, hahaha, and I love Pandemic II. Hmmmm, and like I said, I just bought Terraria and I'm really tempted to buy the Legacy of Kain series off Steam. |D

I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy Type-O and Final Fantasy 15 SO MUCH, and since Final Fantasy 14 is getting a lizard race, I'm thinking about going back to that. I also really like the Sims 3, although I downloaded so many mods that it's kind of a hassle to get to load anymore, hahaha.

So! I guess I like a good mix of games. XD

Nice. I saw Banished for sale and considered it but didn't get it. How do you like Skyrim?

I've played versions of the Sims for years. I just bought University and Supernatural for TS3 when Origin had them for sale. I'm not doing Sims 4 at the moment.

I love Skyrim! I got it when it first came out but had to sell it before getting too far along. It's a lot of fun. I have the legendary edition so I have all the DLC so I'm going to build my house and adopt a kid and all that stuff. Living in a video game, aw yeah. ;3;

I've no interest in Sims 4. It looks really shallow at this point. I loved Sims 2 and 3 though. |D

Thanks for mentioning GetYourWordsOut! I've signed up 250,000 words for 2015. I really need something to get me writing daily, and I'm hoping this will help! I haven't written anything since November. *fail*

Oh, you're welcome! I only signed up for 150k since that'll be a pretty big accomplishment. I've written so little this year, it's pathetic. I would really like to change that around in 2015. ;3;

I was torn on my wordcount for a bit, but I decided to be ambitious! I noticed when I did NaNoWriMo that 1,000 words a day was about the limits of my comfort. So, theoretically, anything under that should be fine? So, I was going to sign up for 200k, but then I thought that if I do NaNo again, 250k shouldn't be a problem. It may be an entirely too ambitious goal, but I'd like to at least try! :)

Go fight win! November is a terrible month for me to try to write that much so NaNo was out this year and probably next year too. Which is okay, because if I can get a good daily word count going, it'll be like a less ambitious NaNo all year round. Or something!

I did GYWO for a few years and found it really useful. I took a break from it this year and am still deciding whether to go back to it in 2015 (but probably will not), but if word count goals and structure are motivating for you, it's a great community. Good luck making your goal!!

Thank you! Structure and word count goals are definitely good motivation for me. I need to see that progress, have there be consequences if the progress isn't there, and also share the progress with other people, haha.
