So is with the recent deletions, is Tumblr going through its own strikethrough? Where the heck will fandom go now (pretty sure discord is where fandom will go; that's basically where I am most of the time (and well, twitter and plurk but only kinda)? We'll see.

I'm doing better! By mostly just focusing on me and the things that I enjoy, and the ways I want to have personal growth. It's. Okay? I'm getting use to spending a lot of my time alone again, which good.

omg but let me tell you guys, one weekend in December is going to murder me. Dec. 7th my great-niece is having her first dance recital (The Nutcracker!), Dec. 8th is the Burton Nightmare Bash, and on Dec. 9th is the first day of beginner's rock climbing. I'm pretty unwilling to give any of these things up so I guess I'll just push through and be exhausted and happy. :'D

I want to do things. I want to try everything out, see what I like and get rid of what I don't. I want to expand my life! I want to have some personal growth. ;o;

I watched the first three episodes of She-ra last night and it was pretty adorable. GLIMMER IS SO PRECIOUS AND I LOVE HER OMG. Bow is also pretty great. In fact Adora is probably my least favorite character so far? I mean, not that I actually dislike her, I do like her! It's just that she's not my fave. Anyway, I want to finish up the series today while I'm working on capstone stuff.

yep it's a full on strikethrough. they blocked the tag and search term "yaoi" for example. to me that means going after fandom because the actual pornbots never tagged anything properly.

so how do you fan on discord? do you just have channels for every fandom? how do you find things? :O

That's pretty much how I do it! I have friends on discord and then I'm on servers for Castlevania, FFXIV, and my FC on FFXIV haha. I'm on some others but they're pretty quiet. And hmmmm, I think you should just be able to google for ones that you want to join.

I feel like tumblr will survive because it is a fungus and will always spore somewhere else. But whether it is worth staying on once everything dies down is another question

Yeah, true! I'm sure there's a large minority who'll be glad that NSFW stuff is gone but I'm not particularly interested in hanging out in such a place. XD

Oh, that's encouraging to hear! I'd run across a couple not-so-positive comments about the show, but was really hoping that there might be some aspects to enjoy, since I was a huge fan of the original as a kid.

Oh yeah, I really love it a lot. It's a pretty huge departure from the original (from what I remember, at least) in terms of tone but I adore it.

They did a big sweep of nsfw blogs and deleted them and apparently blocked such search terms as "yaoi". :\

I really hope it's not discord; I can't deal with active chat rooms. Pillowfort seems like a pretty good option so far, though!

I really enjoy discord but it can be a lot to keep up with! I have a Pillowfort, I definitely need to keep up with it more.

I got to episode six of She-Ra and similarly enjoyed it! Bow is currently my favorite, followed by Adora. I suppose I feel about Glimmer the way you do about Adora. Either way, all the characters are super likable. (Mermista is hilarious, and Sea Hawk is <3<3)
