nansliceWhile Covid is The Worst thing to catch, it still really sucks to get A COLD. Booooo. I've missed the past three days of work due to not wanting to infect any of my coworkers with it. My check is taking a hit but that's worth it, I guess. :P
I've been trying to create art at a breakneck speed! Exchanges are so good for that! I promise I will one day post things here again! ;3; It's been really nice interacting in the discord (as much or as little as I want) and mostly focusing on creating. It reminds me of the early days of fandom, before LJ, when everyone had individual websites and were doing their own things. The community is there, so to speak, but it's not,,,,the main point of fandom, I guess? Don't get me wrong, I adore community~! But for me, sometimes the community gets kind of in the way of creating, I guess, if that makes sense. I don't know. Hmm.
ANYWAY. I absolutely want to start posting things here again and I literally just realized that I could steal the coding from my AO3 posts and use them here, so that's probably what I'm going to do. Perfect!
I'm flying to my mom's house next month for four days and guys, let me tell you, I'm not looking forward to it. Like, I want to see my mom, for sure, but gosh, I'm really not looking forward to seeing the town I lived in and hated for 34 years. UGH. I'll at least get to see her kitties and pups and get lots of pettins in. Gotta look on the bright side!
Is anyone else watching Only Murders in the Building? I'm a few episodes behind but omg I love it so much. Martin Short and Steve Martin are historically a good team and Selena Gomez in the mix has been such a surprise hit! I honestly love it so much, such a good, cozy, whodunnit. I really recommend it if you enjoy comedic mystery. These three are so good together.
I've also picked Granblue Fantasy back up! It's a fun little game and I'm really excited to see the new Halloween skins. Saving all my crystals to hopefully pull a good one!
Oh, also, I recently updated my journal's style! I actually put in a fair amount of thought into it (for me, anyways). It's cute and usable and the colors kind of remind me of earlier fandom for some reason.

(That's the good version; the rough version is "why are all these people WRONG on the INTERNET," lol.) It's kind of fascinating watching the cycle turn.
