► Johnny Depp's wolf was super creepy and badtouchy and he played it well. Little Red was adorable, as was Jack. Poor kid. The Prince's were pretty unbearably secondhand embarrassment inducing but I know they were meant to be but damn. Some of the songs felt pretty eeehhh, although as I am not a musical lover at all, they might be perfectly fine and I'm just being my not!musical lover self, haha. It really seemed to fall apart and the end though, after Cinderella's wedding. Eeeh, oh well.

► ETOILE HAS APPEARED. I figured the boy from the first episode would come back, haha. Also Narsus and and Daryun continue to be an old married couple, even though I still ship Daryun/Arslan because I'm a bad person. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I want to set fire on Kharlan, which makes sense since he's setting fire to innocent villagers. He claims to have a good reason but there's really nothing that justifies this. Lord Silver Mask is hot as fuck and I'm waiting to have a good reason to ship him with someone I already ship him with someone.

Gieve's babbling was on point and I loved his flamboyant gestures and how much Farangis didn't give a fuck, but just what was she wearing? Man, her boobs are going to fall straight outta that top and look, okay, I know anime isn't realistic at all and this is a desert climate but god. damn that is some ridiculousness. She's not Tahaminey, sitting in a castle and chilling, she's riding a freaking horse. Man. That seems so uncomfortable.

All in all, I continue to love this anime and I'm having so much fun with these characters that I knew as a babby Nan and I'm really glad I know about it. ;3;

I'm trying to be so good in not talking about things that haven't happened in this version, hahaha. |D

Arslan is growing on me but this design for Daryun is absolutely my fave. I love it a lot, hahaha.

I'd certainly love it if suddenly more people were interested in creating fanworks for Arslan Senki. There's nothing better to revive an old fandom than a remake/reboot.

I haven't watched 7 yet (saving it, maybe tonight!) but ever since the first opening credits I've been going WTF DID THEY DO TO PHARANGESE'S OUTFIT? She was always so sensibly dressed in, you know, ARMOUR. That and Arslan himself are the only bits of the redesign I am not pretty much in love with. Narsus is perfect, Gieve is as wonderful as ever, and Daryun is appropriately hot.

(Also, Daryn/Narsus/Arslan. They could educate him so much. Though I am probably biased because that is literally the first yaoi fic I ever read.)

Watching these an episode at a time is going to drive me crazy! They go by so quickly and I just want to watch more.

Arslan is growing on me but I don't think I'll ever get used to Pharangeses' clothes. And just a warning, she actually looks worse in the show than in the credits. Her personality is great and I love her but oh man, her clothes. :\

Yeah, no matter what Kharlan's motivation for treason is eventually revealed to be, like, even if it turns out to be a good motivation, there's definitely a difference between turning on your own army and killing fellow soldiers, or even storming a city, and slaughtering defenseless villagers who serve no real military or political purpose. His current actions seem just to save his own skin. Like, obviously Arslan serves an important political role too, but he's not really an immediate threat right now. And even though the others were talking about how if Arslan rises up he can draw a big army to himself or whatever, I doubt that right at this moment he could raise one big enough to retake the capital. Like, even if he tried, surely most of the army of Pars has been wiped out in this current war. There can't be A TON of them left.

Exactly this! They're all dick moves but a line has been crossed when you're killing innocent people just to draw someone out. At the end of the episode when he said "burn them all" or something like that, I was just like. Dude. Dude. He claims to be doing this for Pars but if he continues this direction there won't be much of a Pars left.
